Hoplon Capital, a financial services holding company focused on investment management, strategic advisory, structured finance, and insurance solutions, today announced that Scott Grummon has joined the firm as General Counsel.
In this role, Grummon will oversee legal, regulatory, compliance, governance, and strategic transactional matters across Hoplon Capital and its subsidiaries, including Hoplon Asset Management and Vistina.
Grummon’s appointment represents a significant addition to the firm’s leadership team as Hoplon continues to expand its platform across its asset management and investment banking businesses.

Prior to joining Hoplon Capital, Grummon served in senior legal roles at a variety of alternative asset managers, including King Street Capital Management, Point72, and SAC Capital, among others. He has advised on a broad range of legal, regulatory, compliance, transactional, governance, and strategic matters. Over the course of his career, he has worked closely with executive leadership teams to scale infrastructure and operational processes within complex legal and regulatory landscapes.
