Highlights from Chord’s 2025 Sustainability Report:

  • 30% decrease year-over-year and more than 70% decrease since 2022 in operated Scope 1 methane emissions intensity
  • 8% decrease year-over-year and 30% decrease since 2022 in operated Scope 1 greenhouse gas emissions intensity
  • Zero employee recordable incidents in 2025
  • ~$3 million in charitable giving in 2025 to support education, the environment, mental health, and basic needs

The contents of the 2025 Sustainability Report were informed by leading industry frameworks, including the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board’s (SASB) Oil and Gas – Exploration & Production Standard, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standard for Oil & Gas, and the American Exploration and Production Council (AXPC) ESG Metrics Framework. The report includes third-party limited assurance over operated Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions data.
