Bowling for a Bigger Purpose: Blue Mountain Community Management Supports Families in Crisis

PORTLAND, Ore., Aug. 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — A little friendly competition can go a long way when there’s a good cause behind it.

Blue Mountain Community Management recently brought its business partners and team members together for its fourth annual Associa Cares Bowl-A-Thon, raising more than $9,000 to support families and communities recover from natural and man-made disasters.

Held August 11 at Bull Winkles Entertainment in Wilsonville, the event featured an afternoon of bowling, lunch, giveaways and networking, while sponsorships and ticket sales benefited Associa Cares, a national 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to providing financial assistance to families and communities impacted by disasters.

“Events like this are a great reminder of what we can accomplish when we come together as a community,” said Tabitha Barile, branch president of Blue Mountain Community Management. “Our Bowl-A-Thon gives us an opportunity to connect with our partners and team members while supporting families who are facing some of the most difficult moments of their lives. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who showed up, sponsored the event and helped make a difference through Associa Cares.”

The annual event brings Blue Mountain’s business community together in a relaxed setting while creating an opportunity to make a meaningful difference.

“The proceeds raised through events like Blue Mountain’s Bowl-A-Thon help us be there for families and communities when they need support most,” said Danika Knoop, executive director of Associa Cares. “What makes this event so meaningful is the people behind it, the Blue Mountain employees and valued partners who choose to come together and make a difference.”

Through events like the annual Bowl-A-Thon, Blue Mountain Community Management and its partners continue to demonstrate the power of coming together to support those in need. The funds raised will help Associa Cares provide financial assistance to individuals and families facing unexpected hardships, helping them take meaningful steps toward recovery and rebuilding.
