AM Best will join a panel discussion during the Latin America Reinsurance Group’s (LARG) 2026 Annual Meeting, which will take place Sept. 23–26, 2026, in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
Carlos De la Torre, managing director of operations of AM Best’s Mexico-based subsidiary, will participate in a panel discussion titled “Emerging Risks and its future impact for the Insurance and Reinsurance market,” to explore how emerging macroeconomic, climate, technological and structural risks are transforming the insurance and reinsurance markets. De la Torre, who joined AM Best in 2018, has more than two decades of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industries, predominantly in Latin America. The panel is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 25, at 10:30 AM CDT.
The 22nd annual LARG event is themed as “Innovation, Sustainability and Resilience in the Insurance and Reinsurance Sector,” and offers delegates the opportunity to share knowledge and best practices, network and stay up-to-date on the latest trends in the insurance and reinsurance markets.
